Key Uses
The 3% hydrogen peroxide solution is a versatile staple for both medical and household needs. 
First Aid Antiseptic: It is used to help prevent the risk of infection in minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. When applied to a wound, it releases oxygen and creates effervescence (foaming), which mechanically helps remove pus and debris and kills harmful germs.
Oral Debriding Agent: The solution can be used as an oral rinse (mixed with an equal amount of water) to aid in the removal of mucus, phlegm, or other secretions associated with occasional sore mouth, cold sores, canker sores, or gingivitis.
